Twilight scenes
Today my pictures represent the scenes after sunset, basically the twilight scenes. The pictures were captured from a north-west direction.
These scenes lack the reddish glow that we expect. I am not sure of the reason. May be the thick fog in the Bay area is the reason. Or the direction. These pictures were captured at Berkeley Marina on a foggy day and the sunset itself was also not clearly visible.
You may agree that twilight scenes are not less beautiful!
Berkeley Marina bay view
Berkeley is a city on the east coast of San Francisco Bay, California. It is named after the 18th-century Irish bishop and philosopher George Berkeley.
Berkeley Marina is the westernmost portion of the city. The beautiful area with walking and cycling path is a great attraction for residents as well as tourists. It offers great view of the Golden Gate Bridge and on a cloudless day an awesome view of the sunset!!
These are evening scenes from Berkeley Marina. First picture is taken from the walkers’ path of the Marina and the next two, from the old pier (seen in the first image).
Glory at Golden Gate!
These are the sunset scenes at Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco.
Generally it is difficult to get a clear view as Golden gate bridge is always covered in fog. The shots are taken from Berkeley Marina. Third picture shows Golden Gate Bridge.
